Christmas Temptations effect your Spleen

Don’t Overeat, try to eat in moderation over Christmas.

This may injure our spleen whose role in Chinese Medicine is to transform our food into food Qi and than transport this Qi ( glucose, proteins, fats and nutrients) to the respected parts of the physical body and help separate the waste product. When we overeat this process is impaired so we can get symptoms sluggishness which is slow metabolism, fatigue, a sense of heaviness, loose stools and water retention. So take care to stop eating at the point where we could fit one more bite in…don’t eat it. Try to eat wholefoods and grains where possible and fresh is always best (organically even better).
